Meet the Staff
Norman Sullivan - Lead Pastor
|
I’m Norman Sullivan, lead pastor of this incredible Church. I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. I graduated from University of West Florida in ’83 and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in ‘03. I am married to the very beautiful Teresa, and together we have four awesome kids (approaching adulthood): Brittany, Joshua, Melanie and Jordan. God gave me life experience as store manager in the Tire Business for several years before He called me into full-time ministry. God set us out to start a church that would be a little bit different. Although I would love to take credit for the great things God is doing at Living Truth; the truth is I’m just hanging on and enjoying the ride. God is bustin’ a move!
*If you are “need-to-know” kind of person you can read my blog.

Andy DeGuire - Your Friendly Neighborhood Discipleship Pastor
Glad to meet you! I’m Andy DeGuire, discipleship pastor at Living Truth. A disciple is a follower of someone else or his or her teachings. So, my ministry is focused on developing and strengthening our environments, systems, and leaders so that guests and members can become more committed followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord. I, myself, have been a follower of Jesus now for 20 years, and I have a passion to help people grow towards maturity in Christ.
More than just biblical encyclopedias, I dream of our people being living, flesh & blood truth wherever they go! I graduated from Southwestern Seminary in December 2000. I have been on staff at Living Truth since June 2006 but have been doing ministry since 1993. I am married to Heidi , and we have four beautiful children:
Joey; Danny, Johnny, and Abby.

Travis Oran - Worship Leader
My name is Travis Oran and I have been involved with leading worship here at LTC since the fall of 2000. I am married to the amazing Keena Carter Oran and in October of 2008 we were blessed with our first-born, Kinsley Nicole Oran. I surrendered my life to the Lord when I was 11 years old and God has been gently molding my life towards worship ever since. I believe God created people with an automatic instinct towards worship. Unfortunately, many things in this world capture our "heart's desire" rather than God and our lives are spent "worshiping" the things of this world. Here at LTC our desire is to create an environment where people can experience the powerful presence of God in such a way that our worship is redirected toward Him. We feel God has led us to do this through the use of modern styled music, God inspired lyrics, and the proclamation of His Word. If you enjoy modern, contemporary Christian music; then join us on Sunday mornings as we come together to worship Jesus Christ our Savior. We'll see you there.

Carrie Hollon - Secretary
I’ve been the secretary here at LTC since October 2005, and I truly love what I do. Not only is it lots of fun, but it gives me the opportunity to see daily what God is doing in and through our church. From our kooky staff meetings filled with cheesy humor to the last minute projects we’re so famous for, I am thankful for a great job.
I am married to Joel and we have two beautiful daughters, Cielee and Lily. I graduated from UWF with a degree in Organizational Communication, but I’ll always be an LSU Tiger fan and have even managed to transform Joel into one as well! I enjoy breaking bones while playing softball, reading, and hanging out while Joel cooks gourmet meals.

Robbie Turner - Youth Director
Hello, I am Robbie Turner, the Youth Director at Living Truth Church. I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world, Tara. We have been married 23 years and have three daughters, Jessica, Lauren, and Jamie. I love the outdoors - hunting, fishing, golf etc... I was saved by God’s amazing grace in 2001 when my grandmother passed away - that’s my testimony - a grandmother’s prayer answered. A few years later in 2006, I was at a youth camp in Cleveland, TN at Lee University when God called me into the ministry. In 2007 God opened a door for me to lead our youth at Living Truth Church. It’s my prayer that God will use me to make a difference in the lives of our youth by helping them love Jesus with all their heart. Jesus said, “if you love me, you will keep my command.” It’s all about the heart. God bless.

Pat Butler - Outreach Servant Leader
I was born in St Martinville, LA, graduated from Northside High School in Lafayette, LA and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (Ragin Cajun’s). I surrendered to the ministry in 1969 and worked with Bob Harrington, the Chaplain of Bourbon Street for almost a year, I then returned to my home town and started a Christian Coffeehouse Ministry called The Mustard Seed. In 1971 my wife and I moved to Seattle, WA and started ministering with the Jesus People movement there. In 1986, I started a street outreach ministry in conjunction with the Union Gospel Mission. The ministry was called The Fishermen’s Club, we did street outreach and evangelism to the homeless, runaways, drug addicts and gang members on the streets of Seattle. In 2002, I retired from my full-time job with King County Dept. of Public Works and relocated to Milton, FL. Our Pastor was one of the first people we met here and we fell in love with the ministry of Living Truth Church and the community. I am currently serving as Outreach Servant leader, in addition we host a CPR class (we call our class the “Misfits”, because we don’t fit anywhere else. We jokingly say that we are one big blended family in our group, not the Brady’s or the Cleaver’s, more like the Addam’s Family) in our home. We feel the most comfortable when at Fairs and other outreach events with the God Mobile.

Joel Hollon - Worship Arts Coordinator
Joel Dean Hollon serves as our Worship Arts Coordinator. Half-asian, half-robot, and half-crazy, Joel is the right guy to handle the technical aspects of our Sunday services and community events. It's his responsibility to foster growth in the worship arts within individuals--and within our church body.
To say that Joel is a little on the geeky side would be an understatement.
If nerdy were a puddle, you would find him in it face-down and blowing bubbles. Needless to say, this qualifies him to also serve as our church's IT advisor as well. His hobbies in life include cooking, playing video games, eating bacon, pitching (not belly-itching), and pretending he's MacGyver.
