Children
          Birth-PreK

Our Goal is for your child to learn to love the Lord that will lead to a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching the Bible in fun and exciting ways.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6

Our preschool classrooms are split into three different age groups:

Nursery – Infants to age one. Our nursery workers will listen to your instructions when you drop your child off.  Please let them know what snacks or drinks your child needs and at what times.  Your child’s diaper will be changed if needed.  Please bring a diaper bag supplied with all your child’s needs.

Wobblers – One to two years. This class is designed for babies just learning to walk and play with their friends! Please bring whatever snacks or drinks you would like your child to have for this time as well as a diaper bag supplied with all their needs.

Toddlers – Two to three years.  Your child will be excited to join playtime at the beginning of this class.  Once everyone is settled in, your child will learn a bible story, color, sing songs and have a snack.  This class is then ended with exciting playtime.

Preschoolers – potty trained 3’s through entering kindergarten. Our preschool class is currently using the Elevate Jr. curriculum, which is designed just for them. This is an exciting and active time allowing them to dance and sing, play games, and participate in hands-on activities and crafts, all while focusing on learning more about the Bible and God’s love for them.

Safety policy:  For the safety of all the children, children are signed in by their parent or guardian prior to service and can only be picked up by the parent or guardian.

Sign in begins at 10:15

          LTC KidzK-5th Grade (LTC Kidz)

LTC Kidz is our program for children grades K-5th and takes place during the worship service on Sunday mornings. LTC Kidz is filled with dynamic worship, skits, activities, and Bible study, and will help children learn more about Jesus as they have fun. LTC Kidz is staffed by enthusiastic volunteers from our church who truly love what they do.

Students
          6th Grade (P.I.G.S.)

P.I.G.S. (Pre-teens in God’s Service) is a class designed just for 6th graders!  We use the curriculum “Everything you need to know to be a teenager”.  This class helps get your 6th grader ready for the youth group.  We meet on Wed. nights from 6:15 – 8:00 pm at Turner Barn (7037 Martin Road, Milton)  We eat dinner together every Wed. night.  This class is led by Teresa Sullivan.

          7th-12th Grade (Youth)

Our youth group meets from 6:15-8:00 on Wednesday nights at the Youth Building at Turner field (7037 Martin Road, Milton). Dinner is served at 6:15 each week. There is a time of worship, learning and small groups each week where you can connect with your friends and hang out with some awesome leaders who care. Our leaders are all volunteers from our church who care about youth and what they’re going through. Learn more...

Adults
          Women

Through various planned studies and get-togethers, the women of LTC stay connected to each other while reaching out to those new in our church. There are monthly birthday lunches, trips to women’s conferences, pool parties and much more. Contact the church office to find out the latest planned events for the ladies.

          Men

Iron sharpens iron. Men are constantly under attack in our society. Oftentimes, as the man goes, so goes the home. Get connected to this growing ministry for men whether in the form of joining an accountability group, attending a Promise Keepers Conference or just watching the Super Bowl together.

Care Ministry
          Prayer Ministry

The power is in prayer. Help us form more pockets of prayer all over the community. You are welcome to join a group already in progress, or help us multiply by starting a new group of three or four.

          Baptism

Baptism is an important step in your journey as a follower of Christ; it's an outward symbol of the work God has already done in your life. Jesus died and was raised again so that we can have a relationship with God.  When you make the decision to accept Christ as your Savior and give Him the steering wheel of your life, the Bible says that your old way of life is dead, (symbolized by going under the water) and that you are now beginning a new life with Christ (symbolized by coming up out of the water).  Baptism helps us understand our connection to Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection. Learn more about Baptism.

          Memorials

Planning a memorial service while grieving the loss of a loved one is never easy, and we do our best to help families in every way we can during this difficult time. Please feel free to contact us for any needs you may have.

Special Interest Ministries
          Golf

Golf CPR, is an outreach to people within and out of the church.  We meet on Friday mornings and sometimes we will add an extra day.  We usually play at Whiting Field, mainly for the prices and no need for a tee time.  The costs to walk is about $13 and with a cart about $26.  We fellowship and use the time to get to know one another and anyone that we can invite to join us.  We are hoping in the near future to start a Golf Basics Class.  We want to invite anyone who wants to learn the game, men, women or youth.  We will be teaching the grip, stance, alignment, rules and etiquette.  We are not professional teachers, but some have some skills that can be passed on.  We hope to do the class at Whiting on Saturdays, if anyone is interested.  It will probably be an hour of instruction and then if time allows, nine holes played.  If anyone is interested, email or call Pat Butler.

          Tennis

Our newly formed tennis group meets most Friday nights around 8:30 pm and play until the lights are shut off at 11:00! They meet at the Milton Community Center courts and are a very casual group of guys (but girls are welcome too!). So far the age range has varied from 18-34, but those more “experienced” are welcome to come as well.

          Softball

Each spring we put together co-ed teams (16yrs and up) to play in our city league. It’s a great way to get to know new people, as well as getting out in our community.

Marriage & Family
          Baby Dedications

Baby dedications are always a fun moment to witness! During this time, parents publicly acknowledge that their child is a blessing from God.  Pastors emphasize the importance of a commitment by the parents to provide a Godly home and environment to foster the spiritual growth of their child.

If you have a baby or toddler you want to dedicate to the Lord, please call the church office at 994-7698.

          Preparing for Marriage

Perhaps more important than the ring, the wedding planning, and the honeymoon is the need to know what God’s word says about marriage. Both Pastor Norm and Pastor Andy are available for pre-marriage counseling and require the couple to go through at least 4 sessions before performing a wedding ceremony. There will be a pre-marriage counseling test for each couple with a $15 charge for the test. If you are currently dating, thinking of getting engaged, or planning a wedding, please contact the church office (994-7698) for more information.

Community Service

The definition of a community is a group of people living in the same geographical location and sharing the same resources.   It is this term SHARING that brings us at Living Truth to answer the call to serve in our community. More info about LTC community service.

Missions

At LTC, we believe that missions is an important and vital role in the Christian walk. We support missions on local, state, national, and worldwide levels and are looking to become even more involved as we grow.

On our most recent Mission Trip we sent a Team of nine in coordination with Operation NOAH to help rebuild homes that were inundated by floods of water as the levies broke after Hurricane Katrina. Much more work is needed so look for the next opportunity. It is very likely we will be going again in September or October.

To date, we’ve traveled 51,000 + miles on mission around our nation and around the world.
